Henry Ford Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 60-90 day temporary assignment in the Emergency Department. The RN will provide direct patient care, perform triage, administer medications, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.

You will maintain electronic health records and follow infection control and safety standards. The role requires a Michigan RN license and at least 2 years of clinical nursing experience.

Qualifications

• 2 years of nursing experience in a clinical setting.
• Current Michigan RN license.
• 60-90 day temporary assignment, non-benefit eligible.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department, including assessment, monitoring, and evaluation.
• Administer medications and treatments with accurate documentation and patient safety.
• Perform triage and assist with emergency response protocols as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians, APPs, and the interdisciplinary team to develop care plans.
• Maintain timely electronic health records and clinical documentation per hospital standards.
• Follow infection control and safety protocols to ensure quality care.
• Work 36 hours per week (72 hours per pay period), including every other weekend and every other holiday as scheduled.
• Fulfill the full 56-112 day schedule commitment.

Position Overview:

This is a 60-90 day temporary assignment, non-benefit eligible position. The successful candidate will be assigned to their area of specialty.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department, including assessment, monitoring, and evaluation of patient conditions
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accurate documentation and patient safety
• Perform triage functions and assist with emergency response protocols as needed
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient care plans
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records and clinical documentation in compliance with hospital standards
• Adhere to infection control protocols, safety standards, and quality assurance measures
• Work assigned schedule of 36 hours per week (72 hours per pay period)
• Work every other weekend as scheduled
• Work every other holiday as scheduled
• Fulfill the complete 56-112 day schedule commitment
• Maintain current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing throughout the assignment
• Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability when assigned to areas of greatest clinical need
