6 Spindle New Britain Screw Machines Set-up Operator

Job Description:

The Six Spindle Screw Machine Set-Up Technician will be responsible for setting up and operating a Six Spindle New Britain cam & gear driven Screw Machine Lathe, and machining quality parts per blueprint. The technician is also responsible for reporting any repairs needed to the machine, as well as maintaining a clean machine/workspace.

• Advanced blueprint reading skills
• Ability to grind own tools
• Knowledge of machine functions
• Basic machine repair knowledge
• Must use SPC
• Ability to use Vantage
• Basic computer skills

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

• Ability to read and understand basic English
