UPLAND LABEL LLC seeks an experienced press operator to set up and run a 6 to 8 color flexographic press, ensuring color accuracy and production speed align with quality standards. The role requires hands-on operation, problem solving, and adherence to safety guidelines.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in flexographic printing, with strong reading of technical drawings, and ability to work with inks, solvents, and various substrates. High school diploma or GED is required.

Formación

• 5+ years’ experience in flexographic printing.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in label manufacturing preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Read production orders to verify quantity, tolerance, color sequence, and substrate.
• Obtain substrate, cylinders, plates, inks and related supplies for the job.
• Check setup, registration, die cutting and color against approved proof or print.
• Secure approval for production run.
• Maintain continuous inspection of job specs and quality; collect samples; complete records.
• Solve printing problems promptly.
• Keep press area clean; return unused ink and dispose waste properly.
• Read and understand technical drawings, blueprints, and proofs.
