Job summary

Indy Fiber and Surface Cleaning is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented janitorial cleaner for a commercial facility. This part-time morning role runs Monday–Friday with a 6:00 a.m.

start and about 3 to 3.5 hours per day, leaving afternoons free. Duties include cleaning restrooms, meeting rooms, kitchens, floors, trash receptacles, and high-touch surfaces, following written procedures and client instructions.

Qualifications

• Comfortable performing physical cleaning duties (bending, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping)

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect restrooms
• Clean a large meeting/event room
• Clean kitchen and break areas
• Vacuum carpeted areas
• Sweep and mop hard-surface floors
• Clean entrances and high-traffic areas
• Empty trash and replace liners
• Empty exterior trash receptacles
• Dust windowsills and surfaces
• Clean mirrors, glass, doors, and high-touch surfaces
• Restock restroom and building consumables
• Perform general spot cleaning
• Follow scheduled cleaning rotation for lower-traffic areas

Schedule

Monday–Friday

Start Time: 6:00 a.m.

Hours: Approximately 3-3.5 hours per day

Weekends: No regularly scheduled weekends

Job Duties

Responsibilities include routine commercial cleaning such as:

• Cleaning and disinfecting restrooms
• Cleaning a large meeting/event room
• Cleaning kitchen and break areas
• Vacuuming carpeted areas
• Sweeping and mopping hard-surface floors
• Cleaning entrances and high-traffic areas
• Emptying trash and replacing liners
• Emptying designated exterior trash receptacles
• Dusting windowsills and accessible surfaces
• Cleaning mirrors, glass, doors, and high-touch surfaces
• Restocking restroom and building consumables
• Performing general spot cleaning as needed
• Following a scheduled cleaning rotation for lower-traffic areas

This position does not require cleaning employee desks or personal workspaces.
