Job summary

Alamance-Burlington Schools is seeking a 6-8 Math Teacher for Western Alamance Middle School in Elon, North Carolina, for the 2026-2027 school year. The teacher will deliver mathematics instruction, use ABSS curriculum, and collaborate with staff across departments to support student growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution in an applicable field for applicable level(s)
• Valid NC Teacher’s License in the applicable field and level
• Any equivalent combination of training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities
• Preferred: National Board Certification and Highly Qualified status on evaluations
• Spanish Speaking (preferred)

• Plan a program of study that meets student needs and abilities
• Instruct assigned classes at designated times and locations

• Maintain accurate records and follow ABSS policies
