Qualifications

• Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of state standards, classroom management, and effective teaching methods.
• Ability to modify instruction to meet student needs and collaborate with staff, students, families, and the community.

Responsibilities

• Plan instruction and prepare written lesson plans aligned with instructional objectives.
• Assess pupil progress and maintain accurate records and attendance data.
• Establish and enforce classroom and school-wide expectations and discipline consistent with CPS policies.
• Communicate with parents/guardians regarding student progress, attendance, and conduct.
• Participate in professional development, in-service meetings, and optional field trips or after-school activities.
