Job summary

Ag Processing Inc is seeking a 5th Shift Supervisor to lead production teams, coordinate equipment and personnel, and ensure safe, efficient plant operations. This role requires overseeing daily activities to meet production goals while upholding high safety and quality standards.

The supervisor will supervise a team, monitor performance, and collaborate with maintenance and quality teams to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, NOPA, and BQ 9000 regulations related to plant operations.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical principles.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support production employees through scheduling, monitoring, and training.
• Monitor equipment and facility operations through logs, reports, and inspections.
• Assist with production and maintenance activities as needed, including loading/unloading, railcar movement, cleaning, and process operations.
• Review daily production records to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Assist with inventory control activities such as counting and sampling.
• Collect and test water samples and recommend process adjustments when needed.
• Enforce company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Prepare daily operational reports and attend company meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Ag Processing Inc (AGP) is a cooperative founded in 1983 that processes, sells and transports soybeans, grains, and related products. Our company has become one of the largest soybean processing cooperatives in the world and our plants process soybeans that can be used in a variety of products such as animal feed, vegetable oil, and fuels.
