The Production Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring packaging equipment in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. This role ensures that products are packaged according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), regulatory standards, and company procedures, while maintaining high levels of safety, quality, and efficiency. Moulding & Trimming: Operates manual and semi‑automatic compression moulding/trimming machines in accordance with SOP’s and WI’s to produce moulded sheets of varied products from preform rubber compounds in accordance to productivity standards. Preforms: Pre‑control on rubber compounds in accordance to productivity standards. Washing & Coating: Operates washer, washing lift, container washer, oven, oven lift, coater, and auxiliary machines to support the washing and coating process including in‑process checks in accordance with SOP’s and WI’s to produce rubber stoppers in accordance to productivity standards. Cleanroom: Operates washing, packaging, vision inspection, steam steriliser machines and other auxiliary equipment to support the washing, packaging, inspection, and sterilisation processes including SAP interactions in accordance with SOP’s and WI’s to produce rubber stoppers in accordance to productivity standards. This 5th shift position is a weekend shift, Friday, Saturday, Sunday 11:00 p.m. to 11:30 a.m. There will be a 1st shift training cycle for approximately four weeks.
