Job Description:
The School District of Milton is seeking an energetic individual for a Fifth Grade Teacher (1.0 FTE) (ELA) position at Northside Intermediate School.

This position begins in August 19, 2025, and offers an exciting opportunity to join our team in shaping the future success of our students. We provide a competitive starting salary of $50,600 for a 190-day contract, available to candidates with a Bachelor’s degree. Additional compensation is available for those with prior public education teaching experience and further education beyond a bachelor’s degree. The School District of Milton’s comprehensive benefits package further enhances this offering.

Qualifications:
The School District of Milton is seeking an individual who will engage students in the learning process. Candidates should have an outstanding ability to engage students and inspire them to think critically. Candidates should be organized, flexible, and have strong communic ation skills. Co curricular coaching and advisor positions may be available. The candidate will work collaboratively with colleagues as a positive and substantial contributor to the
school and district; and assume a leadership role in the implementation o f district initiatives. High energy, a positive attitude, and compassion towards others are a must!

It is required that applicants must hold or be eligible for WI DPI Certification in Regular Education 1777 and have the appropriate position code for fifth grade students.

Experience with Responsive Classroom practices, Wit Wisdom Foundational Literacy Strategies and/or Second Step are preferred.
