Job summary

Qualifications

• Relevant MTELs required.
• SEI Endorsement required.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and teach curriculum aligned with MA standards and Expeditionary Learning practices.
• Develop assessments in grade level teams that measure progress toward the standards.
• Nurture, maintain, and communicate high academic expectations for all students.
• Incorporate direct instruction, small group work, projects, and cooperative learning to engage all students.
• Collaborate with grade level teams and support staff to differentiate instruction and close achievement gaps.
• Identify student needs and partner with staff to support health, social, and academic improvements.
• Maintain regular communication with parents about student progress.
