Responsibilities include delivering engaging lessons, differentiating instruction, maintaining records, and using technology to support learning while prioritizing social-emotional growth and parent communication.

Qualifications

• Active and current state of Ohio teaching license in appropriate content area
• Bachelor’s degree in education or related field
• High level of comfort in growth-focused coaching with frequent observations and progress monitoring
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to pass federal and state criminal background checks
• Experience serving in urban education settings

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver lesson plans with ability to modify during the year
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs
• Maintain accurate records of student progress
• Utilize research-based best practices in daily planning
• Manage student behavior and create a positive classroom environment
• Incorporate technology into daily practice
• Collaborate with colleagues and communicate with families
• Perform other duties as assigned
