School Faculty - Elementary - Mother Of Our Redeemer Catholic School

Mother of Our Redeemer Catholic School in Miami, Florida has an opening for a qualified full time Fifth Grade Teacher for the upcoming 2025-26 school year. This teacher will provide engaging instruction while fostering students' academic and spiritual growth. Responsibilities include creating a positive classroom environment, assessing student progress, collaborating with parents and staff, and incorporating faith-based teachings into daily lessons. The candidate performs all duties and responsibilities with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami. Salary will vary based on certification and years of experience.

Qualifications:

• BS / BA Degree in Education.
• FDOE Teaching Certificate in Elementary Education, temporary or professional required.
• Minimum of two (2) years of teaching experience.
• Strong presentation skills with the use of instructional technologies.
• Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel; PowerPoint a plus.
• Effective oral and written English communication skills, including clear speaking voice.
• Good spelling and grammar are required.
• Fully committed, supportive, and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; experience in Roman Catholic environment preferred.
• Knowledge of basic tenets of Catholic Church.
