Western Avenue Elementary is seeking a positive, energetic individual to join their staff as a 5th grade teacher. The successful candidate will create a conducive classroom environment, collaborate with a team to individualize instruction, prepare and deliver effective lessons, and adapt to change. Additionally, analyzing data to guide instruction is essential.

Western Avenue is the largest elementary school in Flossmoor School District 161, with approximately 450 students and 60 staff members serving Kindergarten through 5th Grade. Our students receive core curriculum instruction and weekly lessons in Art, Music, Physical Education, and STEAM.
