Challenge Charter School is seeking a full-time General Education Teacher to deliver engaging instruction in a diverse, urban setting in Far Rockaway, NY. You will assess scholar growth and collaborate with the principal and team to support literacy and critical thinking across content areas.

Applicants should hold a Bachelor's degree, NYS certification preferred, and demonstrate a commitment to closing achievement gaps through data-informed planning and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred; NYS certification preferred.
• Motivated to teach students from underserved areas and close the achievement gap.
• Experience teaching in urban schools preferred.
• Ability to create a classroom where students of all levels enjoy learning and engage with the material.
• Strong teamwork ethic and data-driven instruction.

Responsibilities
