Job summary

Education Service Center, Region 2 seeks a Classroom Teacher for Assigned Campus to deliver engaging lessons in line with the district curriculum. The role reports to the Principal at Premont Early College Academy and involves collaboration with staff to support student growth.

The teacher will plan instruction, manage behavior, assess outcomes, and participate in staff development while following district policies and safety protocols. This position is based at the campus in Premont, Texas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and valid Texas teaching certificate.
• Competency in the core subject area and ability to meet district standards.
• Ability to implement curriculum and adapt for diverse learners.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with district curricula and TEA guidelines.
• Plan and use instructional strategies and materials for varied learning styles.
• Assess student learning and adapt instruction accordingly.
• Collaborate with special education staff for IEP accommodations.
• Plan goals with staff and supervise instructional aides and volunteers.
• Establish professional relationships and communicate with parents and community.
