Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• At least two years of full-time classroom or special education teaching experience, preferably in an urban setting.
• Certification by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education or ability to obtain within a year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Teach 5th grade ELA blocks.
• Plan lessons and student materials using existing curriculum.
• Uphold high academic and behavioral expectations and provide support for students to reach them.
• Participate in coaching and professional development programs.
• Assist with school programming during non-instructional time.
• Be a positive, collaborative member of the Match Charter Public School community.
