Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide direct service and consultation for students.
• Spend a significant portion of each day in direct contact with students for counseling, planning or decision making.
• Provide classroom and small group instruction.
• Provide crisis counseling and referral to outside agencies as needed.
• Mediate with students and staff to resolve conflicts affecting learning.
• Consult staff regarding student difficulties and behavior support plans.
• Serve as a resource on behavioral, social and emotional matters for staff.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents.
• All other duties assigned by the principal.
