Job summary

NextGen | GTA: A Kelly Telecom Company is seeking a Feature Tester / NPI Engineer / Lab Integration Engineer with hands-on 4G/5G RAN experience to support testing and validation of new hardware, software, and features in lab and field environments.

The role involves end-to-end integration, troubleshooting, and customer delivery activities, including collaboration with customers throughout the deployment lifecycle and exposure to live network KPIs.

Qualifications

• Hands-on 4G LTE and 5G RAN experience.
• Experience with Ericsson, Nokia, AT&T or T-Mobile environments.
• Knowledge of 3GPP standards and 4G/5G call flows.
• Experience with baseband and radio hardware integration.
• Ability to analyze UE logs, traces, and network logs.
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
• Ability to work independently in lab and field environments.
• Understanding wireless network KPIs and performance analysis.

Responsibilities

• Integrate 4G/5G RAN nodes from scratch and set up sites.

We are seeking a Feature Tester / NPI Engineer / Lab Integration Engineer with strong hands-on 4G/5G RAN experience to support the testing and validation of new hardware, software, and features from Ericsson, Nokia, AT&T and T-Mobile before large-scale deployment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end integration, testing, troubleshooting, and customer delivery activities in both lab and field environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Integrate 4G/5G RAN nodes from scratch, including site setup and 3GPP integration.
• Perform software installations, upgrades, and feature configurations.
• Test and validate new products, features, and releases (NPI environment).
• Work directly on baseband and radio hardware.
• Execute node configurations, commands, and troubleshooting activities.
• Analyze traces, logs, and UE logs to identify and resolve issues.
• Troubleshot hardware, software, configuration, UE, and network-related problems.
• Support lab testing, field deployments, customer trials, POCs, and acceptance testing.
• Monitor and analyze KPIs within live customer networks.
• Collaborate with customers and provide technical support throughout the deployment lifecycle.
