Network Consultant - 5G Services & Strategy

Fully Remote (USA)

Up to $70/hour

We are seeking a strategic consultant to support the definition, productization, and commercialization of 5G services for a rapidly growing mobile service provider. This position plays a critical role in shaping the future of standalone (SA) 5G deployment, network reliability assurance, and integration with wholesale network providers.

The successful candidate will work on key initiatives such as developing 5G SA offerings, defining capabilities for service reliability and performance monitoring, and managing roadmaps related to third-party wholesale platform integration.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic input on the development and execution of a 5G services roadmap, including key milestones and timelines.
• Support the planning and implementation of the transition from Non-Standalone (NSA) to Standalone (SA) 5G, with a focus on seamless delivery and operational continuity.
• Analyze wholesale network provider roadmaps and integration plans to identify enhancement opportunities and mitigate risks.
• Offer guidance to ensure internal and external platforms evolve in alignment with new service requirements and technological advancements.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline; or equivalent experience in wireless telecom.
• MBA or equivalent business-oriented experience is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated experience in mobile network strategy, planning, and service delivery.
• Expert understanding of next-generation wireless technologies, including NSA, SA, and advanced 5G architectures.
