Job summary

CED Systems in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a Field Engineer to install, configure and integrate Nokia LTE and 5G equipment on cell sites. The role includes coordinating with integration engineers, commissioning hardware, and managing site-related tasks in a dynamic deployment environment.

Ideal candidates have 1–3+ years at telecom sites, Nokia equipment experience, and the ability to work outdoors, travel regionally, and use basic tools and MS Office proficiently.

Qualifications

• Associates degree is preferred; high school diploma with related experience considered.
• Nokia certifications (L0, L1, GC Academy) preferred.
• Ability to represent the company professionally with suppliers and customers.
• Work within Maintenance Window hours and travel regionally as needed.
• Outdoor work in all weather; able to lift 50 lbs and climb a 12 ft ladder.
• Proficient with computers and MS Office; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure and integrate Nokia LTE & 5G equipment on cell sites.
• Coordinate tasks with integration engineers and the broader team.
• Perform commissioning and integration of Nokia equipment and related networks.
• Handle installation tasks for routers, GPS, CPRI fibers and related cabling.
