Pay Rate: $17.35 per hour

Shift:Day Shift

The Frank Packaging Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring packaging equipment used in the production of poultry products. This role ensures product quality, machine efficiency, and compliance with food safety and company standards. Operators may also assist with product sorting and packaging activities as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up packaging equipment before production runs.
• Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed.
• Inspect and sort products on the production line to maintain quality standards.
• Load film rolls and packaging materials into machines.
• Maintain a safe and organized work area.
• Follow all food safety, quality, and company procedures.
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Rotate with other production positions as required.
• Maintain regular and dependable attendance.

Physical Requirements

• Regular standing and frequent use of hands throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
• Frequent reaching, handling, bending, and occasional climbing of steps.
• Ability to work around moving machinery in a wet, humid, and refrigerated production environment.
• Poultry processing and packaging facility.
• Exposure to cold temperatures, moisture, and varying production area conditions.
• Required use of PPE including hairnets, ear protection, gloves, safety eyewear, protective clothing, and cold-weather gear as needed.
