Project Engineer / Device Complaints Responsibilities:

  • Support customer complaint processes, including:
    • Timely investigation completion in compliance with procedures
    • Assess complaints and determine necessary next steps
    • Determine analysis requirements for return samples
    • Perform visual and functional analyses as needed
    • Verify and close complaints with minimal supervision
    • Manage inventory of complaint samples
    • Assist QA in writing GMP documents and tracking complaint metrics
  • Conduct preventive maintenance activities ensuring project and client needs are met
  • Understand lifecycle management for quality applications

Requirements:

  • Willing to work onsite in Indianapolis, IN
  • Associate's degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Attention to detail
  • Self-management and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills and resourcefulness

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of regulatory standards (e.g., cGMP, 21 CFR 820, ISO 13485, Canadian MDR)
  • Experience with complaint handling and quality systems, device/combination products
  • Veeva QualityDocs familiarity

Salary Range for US: $80,465—$93,278 USD. Actual salary depends on experience, background, location, and market conditions.
