Job summary

NTT Global Data Centers is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee end-to-end client implementation projects in the United States. You will lead and develop project managers and implementation teams, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, timeline, and quality standards.

You will coordinate budgets, staffing, vendor relationships, and risk management while engaging with executive stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Academic qualifications in a relevant field (Bachelor’s degree or equivalent).
• Certifications such as PMI, PMP, CAPM, PMP or Prince2 are preferred.
• Extensive experience in global IT services project management.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and complex client engagements.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and vendor contracts.

Your role at a glance

Oversees end-to-end client implementation projects, ensuring delivery within agreed scope, budget, timelines, and quality standards. Leads and develops project managers and implementation teams, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance support. Manages project planning, resource allocation, budgeting, scheduling, risk mitigation, stakeholder engagement, and vendor coordination. Monitors project performance, financials, milestones, and client acceptance, implementing improvements to enhance delivery quality and efficiency. Facilitates cross-functional collaboration, resolves conflicts, manages scope changes, and escalates issues to relevant stakeholders. Requires advanced project management expertise in global IT services, complex cross-technology solutions, agile methodologies, project management tools, executive engagement, and people leadership, supported by a relevant degree and professional certifications.

Key Roles and Responsibilities: Oversees the execution and completion of client implementation projects Oversees people who lead standard projects supporting the company-client relationship, ensuring customer satisfaction Provides budget analysis, labour planning, and coordination of activities between client and company employees Monitors project completion from initiation through delivery to meet revenue and cost projections Oversees performance of the installation and client acceptance of capitalized equipment, enterprise software systems, or system integration projects or engagements Serves as a mediator to internal issues and conflicting priorities for members of cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing solutions to clients Determines and defines client implementation project scope and objectives Prepares budget based on scope of work and resource requirements Creates the project management plan based on requirements and obtain sign off Tracks standard projects cost to monitor compliance to budget Develops and manages a detailed client implementation project schedule and work plan Provides project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress Manages contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables Utilises industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution Monitors progress and make adjustments as needed Measures project performance to identify areas for improvement Oversees all incoming and outgoing project documentation and administration and develop relevant project status and related reports Ensures that project milestones are met, project scope changes are aligned to budget and managed effectively Actions improvements from project reviews using artefacts from projects including historical metrics to improve current project processes and increase project quality delivery Leads and manages a team of project managers and implementation resources.
