Job summary

Leech Lake Gaming is hiring for a cashier role on various shifts in our 24/7 operation. You will manage cash handling, redeem chips, process exchanges, and secure assets across the casino floor.

The position requires basic math, good public relations, strong computer skills, and flexibility for rotating shifts. Compliance with tribal/state licensing, background checks, and drug testing are required.

Qualifications

• Previous cash handling experience helpful.
• Basic math skills.
• Excellent public relations and communications skills.
• Computer & 10 key knowledge helpful and understanding of equipment.
• Ability to work flexible hours, rotating shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Must meet State Compact licensing requirements, pass criminal background check, and submit to random drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Maintains assigned bank per shift.

• Pays out slot jackpots and refills.
• Verifies funds from all revenue generating departments.
• Prepares and verifies Even Money Exchanges.
• Maintain control of keys and logs to sensitive areas
• Maintains knowledge of all events in the property as a whole.
• Attends and/or facilitates all mandatory meetings and training.
• Maintains confidentiality at all times.
• Is sensitive to Native American Culture.
• Operates within the parameters of the Leech Lake Gaming Human Resource Policy, Departmental Policy Manual and all Tribal Internal Controls (TICs), and all other applicable regulations.
• Secures the assets of Leech Lake Gaming and the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
