Job description

$500/Day Film Casting for Male Body Double in Columbus

Job Description

A film production shooting in Columbus, Ohio is looking for a male performer to serve as a body double for one of the project’s featured actors. This non-union booking requires more than simply having a similar appearance—production needs someone who can convincingly recreate the actor’s physical presence when filming shots that don’t require the principal performer. The selected double will work directly within the filming process, matching the actor’s movements, positioning, and overall silhouette so shots can blend naturally into the finished project. Because visual continuity is essential, production may request adjustments to the selected talent’s hair to create a closer match.

Job Responsibilities

• Step in for the principal actor during designated shots and sequences.
• Replicate the performer’s posture, positioning, movements, and general physical presence.
• Hit assigned marks and repeat movements consistently between takes.
• Work with the camera team to achieve the angles and compositions required for body-double footage.
• Maintain the same wardrobe, grooming, and physical presentation throughout applicable scenes.
• Work with the hair department on any necessary appearance modifications.
• Remain available and camera-ready as production moves between setups.
• Take direction efficiently and contribute to a smooth, professional filming environment.

Requirements

Production is specifically looking for a Caucasian male with brown hair and a medium build who can provide a believable physical match for the featured actor. Applicants should understand that achieving the correct match may require an appearance change. Talent must therefore be genuinely willing to shave, cut, or dye their hair if production determines it is necessary. Candidates should also be dependable, comfortable performing repeated movements for camera, and able to work in Columbus, Ohio for this non-union production.

Compensation

• $500 per filming day.
