Job description

This is a 50% position. This position can be combined with an open half-time position at MA (English, technology/business, or MTSS Coordinator/electives teacher) to form a full-time role.

Position Description:

We are seeking a dynamic, student-centered educator to teach a variety of math courses to students in grades 9-12.

Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor’s Degree with emphasis in the area to be taught
  2. Must hold (or be eligible to hold) the required certification/endorsement
  3. Must hold current Criminal History Record Check (CHRC) certification
Details:
  • Start Date: 2025-2026 School Year
  • Salary: Based on experience and in accordance with the 2024-25 Teachers Collective Bargaining Agreement. 50% of full-time salary ranges from $21,298.67 (BA/step 1) to $39,065.35 (MA+15/step 22). The contract year comprises 182 days. (Note: 2025-28 CBA is currently under negotiation.)
