Job summary

R L Industries, Inc. is seeking a skilled CNC Waterjet Operator to set up, program, operate, inspect, and maintain Flow waterjet equipment in a custom manufacturing environment serving the chemical, semiconductor, and defense sectors.

You will review job travelers and drawings, select cut parameters, nest parts, monitor performance, and document production and inspection results while upholding safety and quality standards on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Experience setting up and operating CNC waterjet or similar equipment.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and tolerances.
• Knowledge of basic math and machining concepts.
• Commitment to safety and quality in a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate a CNC waterjet cutting system with loading, fixturing, and unloading.
• Program and prepare cut files, review drawings and specifications before cutting.
• Select parameters, abrasive flow, tooling, and offsets for materials.
• Nest parts for material utilization and production efficiency.
• Monitor performance and adjust to maintain quality and repeatability.
• Inspect completed parts with measuring tools and document results.
• Perform routine maintenance and keep accurate production records.
• Coordinate with engineering, quality, and maintenance to resolve issues.
