Job summary

Pioneer Motor Bearing Company is seeking an experienced CNC machinist to manufacture and inspect precision parts for power generation and defense applications. The role involves 5-axis setup, reading complex drawings, and implementing programs on DMG MORI/Okuma/Fanuc systems.

The ideal candidate will have a technical degree or related experience, strong math skills, and the ability to work from blueprints while maintaining strict quality and safety standards. Overtime at 2x pay is offered.

Qualifications

• 5-axis machine tool setup and operation
• Trade school/CC degree or 5 years related experience
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures and specs
• Familiar with DMG MORI, Okuma, Hyundai, Fanuc and other machine tools
• Ability to present information clearly to managers and coworkers
• Knowledge of machining processes and materials

Responsibilities

• Manufacture and inspect parts from blueprints using various cutting tools and equipment
• Set up machines based on route sheets
• Maintain safety, quality and efficiency in the work area
• Use precision measuring instruments to ensure tolerances
• Edit programs and record changes as needed
• Communicate production issues promptly and suggest improvements
• Load/unload heavy parts with ropes and overhead cranes
