Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist / Set-Up / Programmer with strong 5-axis machining experience to join our precision manufacturing team in Dayton, Ohio.

You will set up, operate, and program 5-axis CNC machining centers, read complex blueprints with GD&T, create and edit programs using G- and M-codes, and perform first-piece inspections while collaborating with engineering and quality teams to ensure tight tolerances.

Qualifications

• Strong 5-axis machining experience and capability to set up, program, and optimize jobs.
• Excellent blueprint reading with GD&T interpretation and tolerance checks.
• Ability to troubleshoot and edit CNC programs at the machine.
• Proficient in selecting tooling, offsets, fixtures, and workholding.
• Independent worker who collaborates with engineering and quality teams.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and program 5-axis CNC machining centers.
• Program, edit, and troubleshoot CNC programs at the machine.
• Read blueprints and GD&T, manage tool offsets and fixtures.
• Make G- and M-code edits to optimize processes.
• Perform first-piece inspections and adjust as needed.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams on new/existing production.
