Job summary

Davis Manufacturing in Arvada, CO is seeking a full-time CNC Machinist to set up and operate 5-axis pallet-changing milling machines, read blueprints, and ensure precision parts.

You will monitor performance, inspect with precision instruments, troubleshoot issues, and maintain a clean, safe work area. Previous aerospace experience and familiarity with Kitamura, Mazak, or Grob are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role.
• Proficiency operating CNC 5-Axis Mills and reading blueprints.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills; aerospace experience a plus.

Responsibilities

Job description

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC 5-Axis Pallet Changing Mills to perform precision machining operations
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations
• Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as necessary to ensure quality and efficiency
• Inspect in-process and finished parts using precision measuring instruments
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve any machining issues
• Follow relevant QMS processes and procedures (including work instructions)
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role
• Proficiency in operating CNC 5-Axis Mills
• Strong knowledge of machining techniques and tools
• Experience in aerospace industry a plus
• Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
• Experience with Kitamura, Mazak and Grob is a PLUS!!
