Job summary

Trident Maritime Systems – Heavy Equipment Group is seeking a CNC Floor Bar 5-Axis Machinist for our Rhinelander, WI location. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in 5-Axis machining, including tool path verification. Responsibilities include independent setup, machining of complex weldments, and maintaining a safe work area.

Qualifications

• Strong 5-Axis machining background including tool path verification and collision analysis.
• Experience with large complex weldments (up to 90’).
• Knowledge of materials like Stainless Steel, Aluminum, and high temperature alloys.

Responsibilities

• Independently setup intricate parts and fixturing.
• Machine intermediate to advanced parts with a high level of quality.
• Maintain equipment and a safe work area.
