Performance Responsibilities
  • Meet and instruct assigned classes at designated locations and times.
  • Plan a program of study that meets students' individual needs, interests, abilities, and aligns with state standards.
  • Establish and communicate clear objectives for classroom activities.
  • Employ diverse instructional techniques and media suitable for the physical environment and student needs.
  • Use effective classroom management strategies to foster a conducive learning environment.
  • Implement the District’s educational philosophy and instructional goals through instruction and action.
  • Take necessary precautions to ensure student, equipment, and facility safety.
  • Maintain accurate and complete records as required by law and policy.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Terms

190 days. Salary and work year to be determined by the Board.

Evaluation

Performance will be evaluated according to the Board’s policy on Evaluation of Professional Personnel.
