Qualifications

• Current and valid teaching license or endorsement.
• Ability to align instruction with CCSS.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsabilités

• Teaches reading, language arts, social studies, mathematics, science, and related subjects using district pedagogy.
• Instructs pupils in citizenship and state requirements and district procedures.
• Develops lesson plans and provides differentiated instruction for individual needs.
• Translates lesson plans into engaging learning experiences to maximize instructional time.
• Establishes and maintains standards of pupil behavior for a functional learning environment.
• Evaluates academic and social growth, keeps records, and prepares progress reports.
• Communicates with parents through conferences and other channels to discuss progress.
• Identifies pupil needs and collaborates with staff to address health, attitude, and learning concerns.
• Creates engaging displays and learning centers to stimulate interest.
• Maintains professional competence via in-service and growth activities.
• Maintains accurate records as required by law and policy.
• Supervises pupils during activities and outings within the school day.
• Participates in faculty committees and sponsorship of pupil activities.
• Implements intervention strategies and differentiation to support learning.
• Performs other duties as assigned by administration.
