Job summary

The Wake County Public School System is seeking a qualified educator to plan and provide engaging classroom experiences that foster intellectual, physical, social, and emotional growth for all students in Raleigh, NC. You will design instruction, monitor outcomes, and collaborate with staff, parents, and community to support success.

Required is a Bachelor’s degree in Education and NC Professional Educator’s License; a Master’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education with appropriate subject area.
• Hold or be qualified to hold a North Carolina Professional Educator’s License in a teaching content area.
• Master’s degree in a specific subject area preferred.
• Experience with assessment strategies aligned to curriculum.
• Ability to integrate technology and multicultural instruction.

• Ensures effective communication techniques with students, parents, and stakeholders.
• Engages in planned continuous professional quality improvement for self, school, and district.

• Maintains a safe classroom environment and proper records.
