Wake County Public School System seeks a qualified educator to plan and provide learning experiences that foster intellectual, physical, social, and emotional development. The role requires using data to monitor student outcomes, collaborating with families, and maintaining records and resources in a safe classroom environment.

The candidate holds a North Carolina Professional Educator License and a Bachelor's in Education; a Master's is preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Education required or equivalent.
• Hold or qualify for North Carolina Professional Educator's License in teaching content area.
• Master's degree in a specific subject area preferred.
• Experience implementing inclusive instruction and integrating technology into the curriculum.

Responsabilidades

• Utilizes assessment strategies aligned with WCPSS curriculum to support learner development.
• Ensures effective communication with students, parents, and stakeholders.
• Engages in ongoing professional quality improvement for self, school, and district.
• Promotes critical and creative thinking through targeted instructional strategies.
• Implements instructional materials reflecting diverse cultures, learning styles, and needs.
• Maintains a positive learning environment with clear classroom management and safety procedures.
• Plans, aligns, implements, and evaluates instruction and assessments across environments.
• Collaborates with peers, parents, and community to improve classroom experiences.
• Integrates technology in teaching and learning processes.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
