Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or post-graduate work in Elementary Education (Master's preferred).
• Valid Washington State teaching certificate with endorsement in Elementary Education (K-8).
• Demonstrated knowledge of research-based instructional strategies and assessment practices.
• Experience collaborating with educators to model effective instruction and assessment.
• Understanding of needs of diverse learners and strategies to address them.
• Knowledge of local and state standards; ability to align instruction accordingly.

Responsibilities

• Center instruction on high expectations for student achievement and communicate targets clearly.
• Demonstrate effective teaching practices using research-based instructional strategies and pacing.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse developmental needs and monitor progress.
