Job Summary: Assist lineman in installing or repairing cables or wires in electrical power/distribution systems, including erecting poles and transmission towers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Use hand and power tools to measure, cut, assemble, install, test, or repair cables or wires according to plans and standards.
• Help install, inspect, maintain, and repair electrical distribution and transmission systems.
• Attach grounding devices, climb poles, drive to job sites, identify defective equipment, dig holes, splice cables, string wires, and replace damaged poles.
• Participate in safety processes, report hazards, and follow safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of experience as a lineman helper or similar craft, with knowledge of electrical systems.
• Must have necessary tools and be at least 18 years old.
• NCCER Construction Craft Laborer certification or equivalent preferred.

Work Environment & Physical Demands: Construction site environment, working in extreme temperatures, handling heavy items, climbing, and physical labor required.
