Job Description

Position Summary:

Responsible for operation, setup, and adjustment of production equipment as required. Assists in setups, tool room, and maintenance with debugging of equipment and tooling.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate, set up, and adjust production equipment as required.
  • Monitor equipment, notify supervision or setups in case of machine or tooling malfunctions that cannot be corrected.
  • Inspect parts to ensure conformance to specifications.
  • Service equipment as needed (e.g., add grease, lubricant, and coolant).
  • Approve inspection reports.
  • Meet established production standards.
  • Complete required paperwork, including production, productivity, inspection, downtime, and SPC charts.
  • Train new employees as required.
  • Maintain a clean, orderly, and obstruction-free work area.
  • Observe safety rules at all times and report unsafe conditions immediately.
  • Ensure the quality and safety of own work and compliance with all company procedures and policies.

Qualifications:

Required: Eighth-grade education; must be in good standing with the company.

Preferred: High school education with at least three months' work experience in a manufacturing setting.
