Job summary

Bridgestone Americas, Inc. Des Moines plant is seeking Manufacturing Production Workers to set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot production equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include handling materials, monitoring quality, and keeping precise production records. Minimum qualification is a high school diploma or equivalent, with optional vocational training; safety and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 year vocational training or an associate degree preferred.
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate machine tools, chemical processing, assembly, or packaging equipment to meet production specs and quality standards.
• Move, pack, and sort raw materials or finished goods.
• Monitor output quality and identify faulty products for rework or discard.
• Maintain accurate daily production records for performance analysis.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Summary

Manufacturing Production Workers focus on setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting manufacturing production (i.e., machining, processing, assembly, or packaging) equipment

Responsibilities

• - Operating machine tool, chemical processing, assembly, or packaging equipment to manufacture products according to production specifications, schedules, volume/cost/wastage targets, and quality standards
• - Moving, packing, and sorting raw materials or finished goods
• - Monitoring the quality of output to identify, discard, or re-manufacture faulty products
• - Maintaining accurate daily production records as input to manufacturing performance analysis
• - Other duties as assigned
