Requirements and Description

ERMC has stations in more than 200 airports, providing a range of ground aviation services including ticketing, ground handling, cabin cleaning, and cargo. We also operate and maintain terminals and support facilities at busy airport locations.

We are seeking a Bridge & Baggage Lead Technician to oversee maintenance and operation of passenger boarding bridges (PBBs), Baggage Handling Systems (BHS), and related equipment, ensuring safety and efficiency.

The responsibilities include:

1. Leading technicians in maintenance tasks.
2. Providing timely reports on maintenance issues.
3. Maintaining records of repairs, parts, and maintenance data using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
4. Performing preventative, corrective, and emergency maintenance, which may require 24-hour support.
5. Leading employee performance improvements.
6. Supporting management in inspections and monitoring.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of aviation operations.
• Experience maintaining PBBs and BHS equipment.
• Ability to lift and move up to 75 lbs. and operate material handling equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical and electrical systems.
• Technical training in mechanical, electrical, or electronic disciplines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel preferred.

Standard Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Must have a Government ID and social security card.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an airport security badge.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to work in extreme weather and confined spaces.
• Clearance eligibility after background check.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours.
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).
