Job Title: 4150 MIA - Journeyman Electrician

Job Type: Full Time, Non-Exempt

Shift: A.M. and P.M. shifts

Company Overview

ERMC has stations in over 200 airports, providing ground aviation services including ticketing, ground handling, cabin cleaning, cargo, and operations and maintenance for terminals and support facilities in busy airport locations.

Position Summary

ERMC Aviation is seeking a Lead Journeyman Electrician responsible for maintenance and repair of electrical, mechanical, and control systems related to airport conveyor systems and other equipment as specified.

Responsibilities
  1. Maintain and repair electrical, mechanical, and control devices and components.
  2. Operate and maintain all specified equipment and systems.
  3. Perform maintenance services from main disconnect to end devices.
Qualifications
  • Experience in related fields, especially with industrial control devices.
  • Attention to detail for precise measurements.
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Certified electrician with a minimum of Journeyman status, with experience in industrial electrical motor control and automation.
Standard Requirements
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
  • Possess a Government ID and Social Security card.
  • Able to obtain and maintain an airport security badge.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work in extreme conditions and small spaces.
  • Ability to obtain security clearances after background checks.
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours as needed.
  • Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking, understanding).
