The incumbent is expected to exercise sound, reasonable judgment and initiative, and give high priority to accuracy and detail in the performance of job responsibilities.## Qualifications**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:*** Check the Pantry Cook Checklist at the beginning of the shift to know responsibilities for Kitchen preparations and Banquet functions* Keep work area clean (work table, cutting board, slicers, sink, etc.) to avoid food contamination* Prepare food- slice meat and vegetables daily and keep food organized and labeled properly* Prepare the buffet table and the line for Á la carte* Make sure the coolers are running at the right temperature* Handle fresh seafood with care, keeping it iced down at all times.
