Job summary

Nexstar Media Group, Inc. is seeking a dynamic 4PM producer in High Point, NC. The one-hour newscast will feature breaking news, enterprise stories, and a collaborative team of journalists dedicated to high-quality storytelling.

You will craft scripts with urgency, coordinate with anchors and reporters, and respond swiftly to breaking events while contributing ideas in editorial meetings. A newsroom-ready candidate with solid writing and time-management skills is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of producing experience in a television newsroom.
• Strong news judgment and understanding of local, national, and international current events.
• Excellent writing, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
