Job summary

The McPherson County Public Works Department is seeking applications for a Short-term (4 month) Maintenance Worker (laborer/mower) position. The incumbent will perform maintenance tasks and operate mowing equipment as assigned, following both oral and written instructions. Applicants must be 18+, have a valid Kansas driver’s license, and be in good physical condition.

Work location is Suite 201 in the McPherson County Building, 200 N. Maple, McPherson, KS.

The McPherson County Public Works Department is seeking applications for a Short-term (4 month) Maintenance Worker (laborer/mower) position. Requirements include: ability to follow oral and written instructions, good physical condition, ability to perform manual tasks under varying weather conditions, 18 years of age with valid Kansas driver’s license. Prefer experience with or knowledge of various light construction equipment (mowing tractors).

Wage: $19.84 per hour.
