Job summary

University of Illinois Extension seeks an Extension Program Coordinator, 4-H Youth Development to promote and implement 4-H programs in schools and communities.

Qualifications

• High school graduation or GED.
• 4 years/48 months of volunteer or professional work experience coordinating educational or community programs or activities.
• Volunteer/work experience coordinating educational and/or community programs or activities.
• College coursework in any field of study.
• 60/90/120 semester hours equals 2/3/4 years of experience respectively.

Responsibilities

• Program Coordination and Development: plan educational activities with staff collaboration.
• Volunteer Recruitment, Training & Development: recruit and train volunteers.
• Marketing & Networking: develop marketing plans to recruit volunteers and participants.
• Organizational Duties: attend meetings and maintain records and reports.
