University of Wisconsin–Madison is seeking an Outreach Specialist as part of the 4-H Extension Institute in Buffalo County, Western Wisconsin. The role focuses on leadership and direction for a county-based 4-H program across administration, volunteers, and education.
The position emphasizes building partnerships, developing curricula, and delivering outreach content to communities while coordinating day-to-day activities with staff and volunteers.

This position, housed in thePositive Youth Development Institute, is a great opportunity togrow connections between the area's strengths and the community asa whole.
The 4-H Program Educator is a part of the Division of ExtensionWisconsin 4-H Program, which is housed within the Positive YouthDevelopment (PYD) Institute. The 4-H Program Educator providesoverall leadership and direction for a county-based 4-H program.This position includes three primary roles:1) ProgramAdministration, 2) Volunteer Management, 3) Education and YouthAdvocacy
The main office for this position is located in Alma, WI and theprimary programming focus is Buffalo County; however, someprogramming may also be conducted over a broader geographicalarea.
It is anticipated this position requires work be performedin-person, onsite, at a designated campus work location.
This position may be required to work occasional nights andweekends to meet the program needs and priorities of thecommunities served.

The minimum annual (12 months) starting Salary for the position is$60,795 but is negotiable based on experience andqualifications
