4 East - Certified Nursing Assistant 36 Hour Nights BWFH

Join us at Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital as a Certified Nursing Assistant on 4 East, working 36-hour night shifts. This role involves supporting the nursing team in providing exceptional patient care, including clinical tasks such as blood glucose monitoring, EKGs, and responding to emergencies with Heartsaver CPR and AED skills. The position offers a full-time schedule with every other weekend and holiday commitments.

Responsibilities include:

• Ensuring patient safety and comfort through routine checks and assistance with mobility.
• Supporting infection control and safety protocols.
• Assisting with patient hygiene, feeding, and basic care needs.
• Documenting patient information accurately and timely.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and providing patient/family education.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Certified Nursing Assistant credential from NCCT or equivalent.
• Effective communication skills in English.
• Ability to perform basic medical calculations and measurements.
• Physical ability to perform duties, including lifting and moving patients.
