Job summary

Mitchell Companies, Inc. is seeking a Route Delivery Driver in North Carolina. This full-time role requires dependability to deliver wine, beer and spirits to customer accounts with a 40-hour work week, and a 4-day work week as advertised.

You will perform pre-trip inspections, maintain the vehicle, and coordinate with sales reps and warehouse on discrepancies. A valid NC license, clean driving record, and drug/DOT requirements are required.

Qualifications

• Valid NC driver's license with a clean driving record and successful background check per NCDOR.
• Minimum one year of experience as a delivery driver.
• Must pass a mandatory pre-hire drug test, DOT physical, and random drug tests.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and calculate discounts.
• Able to handle minor problems professionally.

Responsibilities

• Deliver orders to customer accounts and ensure on-time, accurate deliveries.
• Assist merchandisers and fellow drivers with routes as needed.
• Follow route schedule and properly rotate company products.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness, fuel, and safe operation.
• Complete end-of-day paperwork and attend driver meetings.
