Job summary

Torrid is hiring a Merchandise Processor at our West Jefferson, Ohio distribution center. You will support daily operations by handling merchandise from start to finish, including receiving, prepping, picking, packing, shipping, and returns.

The role features a 4-day work week with shifts on B1 Days (5:30 AM – 4:00 PM), B2 Nights (4:30 PM – 3:00 AM), C1 Days (5:30 AM – 4:00 PM), or C2 Nights (4:30 PM – 3:00 AM), averaging 35 hours per week. Training is provided to ensure safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Basic math skills.
• Consistent attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to operate an RF scanner.
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Process a high volume of merchandise quickly and accurately.
• Unload merchandise from trucks and prepare it for distribution.
• Use RF technology and scanners to pick, induct, sort, and pack orders.
• Unpack cartons and organize merchandise by color, size, and style.
• Count, record, and verify merchandise quantities to ensure order accuracy.
• Pick merchandise from multi-level shelving and transfer items using totes or boxes.
• Ticket merchandise, fill orders, assemble boxes, and help distribute inventory.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Work across different departments as needed.
• Meet or exceed company standards for accuracy and productivity.
• Adapt to changing business needs by supporting different departments.
• Operate power equipment as needed. Training is provided.
• Follow the assigned 4-day work week schedule.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by your supervisor.
