Job summary

Atlas Staffing, Inc. is hiring a Quality Assurance Inspector in Spokane Valley to support the production and quality teams with accurate inspections of incoming, in-process, and final parts.

You will use precision tools and read production documentation to determine inspection requirements, recording results and communicating findings with the team. Four day workweeks provide a long weekend while you grow hands-on experience in a clean, quality-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of quality control/assurance experience.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Ability to read and follow detailed written specifications and work instructions.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining accuracy.
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
• Fine hand motor skills and ability to use hand and foot controls.
• Ability to meet required vision standards with or without correction.
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience with aerospace manufacturing standards preferred.
• Microsoft Excel experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming, in process, and final inspections of manufactured parts.
• Use calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, gauge blocks, height gauges, testers, and 10X inspection loops.
• Read job travelers, specifications, and other production documentation to determine inspection requirements.
• Record and document inspection results accurately.
• Identify and disposition questionable or nonconforming in process product.
• Verify job traveler accuracy and work with production team members to resolve discrepancies.
• Complete change documents, manufacturing receipts, and inventory documentation.
• Communicate quality findings clearly with supervisors and production team members.
• Assist with occasional calibration of inspection equipment.
• Follow established quality, safety, and manufacturing procedures.
